Jamin is this the 1-00-018 ?  That's only rated for 25lbs a side.  If I am mistaken please enlighten me.

HMMM. That is odd. That can't be correct. The speakers they have in their picture weigh more than 25lbs each and they have 2 mounted on them. I know I shouldn't go by the picture, but it clearly shows heavier speakers than their posted rating.

I can't think of any pole mounted or hanging speaker (for live sound) that weighs less than 12.5lbs.  :o

I don't think they would sell very many if 25lbs is their load limit.

I'm pretty sure the spec sheet I received from Applied had them rated for much more.

If you were to see these in person it is very obvious they can handle a lot more than 25lbs. They are heavy duty. I hope that's a typo.

I'll give them a call when they open and report back. I would like to know myself

OK, I just called Applied and spoke with a tech support person

**Disclaimer** I'm only relaying what I was told over the phone

He said the 25lbs. is the weight of the bracket, not the load rate.  The bracket is rated for whatever Applied stand you are using it on, up to 500lbs.

The stand rating overrides the bracket rating. Example: L-13 stand is rated for 200lbs.  Max load 200lbs.

Whew. Had me worried for a minute. I suspend 2 50lbs speakers all the time.

Edit: If you look at "T" bars on their website it says 8lbs. I guess that kind of confirms what he said.
