I am getting ready to test using a tablet with different Mixing boards.  My question is with the tablets size.  does it matter if i use a 10" or 8 ".  Is there an advantage between the two different screen sizes?  Answer I am looking for is, the 10 inch screen will display more option on one screen page then the 8".  will i see less faders or the same number of channels between the two sizes.

I don't know about other brands or the specific apps/mixer you'll be using, but with my iPads, the 10" shows more faders in mix view  and its easier to manipulate EQ's and compressor settings than when I use my 7" iPad.

As always look at the shoes on the people that say size doesn't matter.  However as with most things in life it it's too big to fit it's not worth it.

I think the same is true of tablets.  A diminishing return exists.

Screen resolution controls that.  The more pixels, the more faders one can display (providing the console supports it).

It's actually possible for an 8" high resolution display to show more faders than a lower resolution 10".  So, check your specs on both devices.
