NON FRAGILE Audix D2 mic clips
« on: June 29, 2016, 11:07:52 AM »

Hey Everyone,

I own some AUDIX mic clips for my D1,D2 and D4 but I also own some off brand ones that are exact duplicates but softer and less fragile

Unfortunately I can not read a name off them or what they are ??  Let alone where I got em

Can anyone help me by telling where to buy these ??

IME these fill the bill for not just the Audix D series, but for some similarly sized EV & others. Never had one break to date.

I believe that there are 2 versions of the D-clip.  The original with thin plastic where it wraps around the mic.  The second version is what is shown on the Audix website which is thicker and more rugged looking.  I own and have broken both styles  with cold gear in the winter.  I have never seen another brand, but am definitely interested if it's more pliable.

I think it's changes several times - the D-Clips are great and a savior for the old 'very fragile' version - I had a new D2 show up with the clip broken in the box once!

My version have a different 'knurled knob' on them than the one on their website now. I now strangely realize that I haven't lost one in about 10 years....
