If that's a fake, someone put a hell of a lot of effort into making a fake photo-realistic rendering.

It's actually, not a hell of a lot of effort to create a 3d mockup.  This probably wasn't supposed to be release to the public yet, and is unlikely a 'final' design, but a work in progress.  Modifying designs for something that never sees the light of day is pretty common, and simple if you already have all of the components in your 3d app.  Making it on your own from scratch would be more work, but again, only a few hours of work could get what you see in the drawing.

A lot of the "photos" of any real audio product I see on websites and in brochures is from a render instead of an actual live shoot.

I remember the M32R being leaked a short while before it was announced.

Maybe we'll see something at summer Namm?

Perhaps it was leaked to Music Group can get feel for interest before finalizing the design?

In general, I'm very interested and don't have an personal changes to the surface. My only interest is how the software is going to integrate and make my workflow better.

I don't mind working on the X32/M32 desks, but every time I try to do something reasonable it's always a source of frustration. (Like trying to use Multirack and loosing control of the head amps on the surface or the 32 I/O limit on the card slot.) So it will be interesting if they take everything good about the M32/X32 and remove the limitations.

Had a feeling this was coming, after reading about the new midas preamps.

Looks to be an M32-style version of the Pro series.

If it has "Heritage" in the name then it needs to be purple!         -obvious fake :)

I rather like that Midas has finally produced a serious digital desk, without it looking like a vomiting child who'd eaten all their crayons was part of the design process!

Seriously though, I wonder if they'll spin the "industrial design" again, like they did with the Bentley/M32 promo materials?

If it's real (I don't see why it wouldn't be), looks like they're going after the CL with this one.

While this may be a great product one day, I think its a real shame to use the Heritage name. This thing has absolutely nothing to do with a Heritage whatsoever

The CL has a lot of love, so it would be a good place to target.

Seems to be an awful lot of wasted space in the EQ section.

I see a lot wasted airspace in a case.
