All true but some things are wrong. Wrong if they cost, wrong if they pay.  A mic drop is wrong.

I stopped letting my personal beliefs get in my way of taking other peoples money.  It's just not worth it.

It's like the gay wedding cake bakers.  What the world knows is they are the worst businessman in the world, why would you let your personal feelings drive you to such an emotional level that your would turn away perfectly paying good work?

If it's not illegal who cares?

It's a Shure product. What the heck are you all worried about?

While you can't see how far the drop was, it sounds like it was about 2' onto a table.

When the KSM9 capsule started being sent around for demos Shure was apparently telling people to drop the mic, just to prove how tough it was.

... especially when they failed to post a sign dictating which religions they were accepting of/would serve, and which ones they wouldn't... I mean, all they had to do was say "Evangelical Christians Only," and they would have been fine!

The hotel charged the client more for the electricians' time to tie in the power tails than it cost to buy that mic.  Its all part of the show, at that level of work no one bats an eyelash at the added cost.  Make the customer happy and smile at the added billing opportunity.

The sound company paid more in crew labor waiting for the electrician than the mic was worth too but thats a different story  ::)

You say this like you've been in the venue before....
