AC current draw of SAE PXM-1450
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:17:56 AM »

Hello, I'm trying to wrap my head around how I could get maximum performance out of my new SAE PXM-1450 amplifier.

It has got an internal 25A breaker on behind the amp(which I guess is what I use as a benchmark), and it's a capable beast to say the least. Am I right in guessing that it would be optimal to have a source delivering 230v/25A or more single phase(I live in Sweden)? Most venues around here are 230v/16A and finding 32A sockets are rare... Will I not be able to run the PXM on full performance from a 16A single phase?

Thanks!
