Looks like you are not prepared.  Why is that driveway not plowed?  How are you going to get to your gig?

Driveway is open you just can't tell. Need to get the 2' of snow off the trailer roof. No big rush now since the show is cancelled.

I was being silly, where is this?   I don't think my show would have cancelled for that much snow but we average over 80 inches a year outside of Cleveland OH

Yeah it is in the tag line, give me a break I just woke up an two hours ago.

I would imagine Harrisburg has full snow removal infrastructural.  Looks like you got about 18"

The mayor banned all vehicle travel. They are another bankrupt city so infrastructure is in place but not in force I am sure.

My Friday gig got postponed to today, and I'm snowed in! Luckily the show is carrying full production, and I've got a good web connection.

So I'm on RPM duty today.. Remote Patch Monkey(c).

For best results, please, allow me to tell you where to stick it!

Coming soon, Virtual Patch Monkey(c), an automated, cloud-based AI sound engineer, so you can tell people your VPM isn't working over your VPN. Tech support provided by Comcast chatbot.

Oh boo, hoo. Let me know when you get some real snow, not that sissy light stuff that your wife should be shoveling.

My gig in east Berlin was cancelled as well. I had 3 ft down in Mount Wolf.

I'd get it dug out and moved.
If that show decides to slide off the roof in a mass, it will crush your trailer

Cleaned off the roof as soon as it stopped snowing for that same fear.

Smart man!

My brother in law (lives in Vermont) has has 2 cars hit hard by a roof dumping. (same exact parking spot, LOL!)
I think his wife has finally figured out that, that parking spot isn't a good one during snow!

My 79-year-old mother lives in Minnesota. She shovels her own driveway, about 100 feet from the road to the garage.

For Christ sake, what kind of son are you. At the very least send your wife over to help her. And if she refuses to go for you then spring for a small snow blower, and teach her how to use it. Nothing too big or she'll have trouble pull starting it. Once that happens you'll be getting a call every time it snows, and you don't want that.

……. but since it's -- what, sixteen hundred miles from Battle Ground, WA to Minnesota, I HOPE his mother doesn't expect his help. :)

Get her a snowblower, or pay for the kid down the street with the Meyer or Western plow to do it for $30 a pop. Fischer will do as well..

Aaron - I'm still trying to figure out how you'll hook the trailer to the front of your truck...

Just trying a little good ol' fashion shaming. ;-)

Yes, my mom lives something like 1600 miles away. She does have a snowblower, but it's too big for her to handle. When the snow is heavy and deep, the neighbor comes over and runs the snow blower for her. I can remote control her PC, but so far I haven't figured out how to turn the snowblower into a drone. But when it's just an inch or two, she shovels the driveway herself, a little at a time.
