« on: August 03, 2015, 02:18:31 PM »

I have 4 units for our IEM's

Any experience with this unit ?

You'll need one of these.

and the paddle too I am guessing

Well this kit has everything you need in it- the combiner, the rack mount kit, and the antenna.

However, I know that there's lots of dealers on here for Sennheiser -- so I would always suggest you reach out to other forum members. Probably beat Sweetwater's pricing to boot, and you'll support a smaller business, which is always nice. :)

Do you need a combiner and antenna? Are you having issues with interference?

I drilled 4 holes in a single blank space, mounted my 4 IEM antennas to it and mounted the single space to the back of my IEM rack. Works great.

I have done something similar and if you don't need the extra range of a "paddle" antenna, it works fine.
MUCH cheaper.

Yep. Then order two of the Sennheiser AM2 kits with 4 bulkhead adapters and 4 BNC cables total. I see those online for about $45 each. Or order them piece by piece-- I know I could find 4 22" BNC cables and bulkhead adapters and come out a good amount cheaper then the $90 something to get two of the Sennheiser kits.

AudioPile will hook you up with a 1U blank rack panel.

My current set up is like this one -  if I have this already will the paddle/combiner help THAT much.

I also have signal boosters on each channel in the rack that I bought separately
