Which amp for sub duty

which is better for subs. Crest pro 9002 or crown it 6000. Or some other lightweight amp in the less than 2 k range.

You can find reconditioned Crown I-Tech 8000 amps for under $2k.

I am not particularly familiar with the crest pro, but the ITech amps definitely beat the pants off the XTi 6000. Keep in mind that the MSRP on the ITECH 8000 (now HD) is around $8500 IIRC. So getting a reconditioned one for under $2K is a great deal.

Can't comment on the crowns.  I run 4 double 18's with a pro 8200 bridged on each one, sounds great. 18kw right there.  Bought the amps used, 2 for $1600 another 2 for $1500.
