I simply don't see many choices for lightweight portable single-point (coaxial) tops in the US. Wait! Let me clarify... I don't see many coax choices that us weekend bands and small-time soundguys can afford. Of course, I know that you would still needs subs. I'm just talking about 90 degree or more top boxes to cover say 100Hz and up for a portable bar system.
I too would suggest checking out the Tannoy offerings. They have been a favorite of mine for years.
Also, keep an eye on Martin Audio. They released at PL+S and are about to release (at INFOCOMM) in the U.S. a line called CDD. This is a coax install line with differential dispersion in the HF. I expect they will be coming out with a "live" version and I would also expect that a pole mount cup could be added to the yolk mount. Inconvenient without an NL4 though.
