backup power supply for church audio
« on: April 21, 2015, 04:38:49 AM »

Our church goes through frequent power cuts during service which presents problem for both audio operation and congregation as well. A standby genset cannot start instantly. I am planning to install another auxillary power supply by way of inverter with batteries which can give atleast 10 minutes backup. Specs/details for the audio setup:-
1. FOH speakers - 928LA JBL - 4 nos (2 each for left/right)
2. Monitor - JBL MRX 512 - 2 nos
3. Mixer - GB4 - 24 channel
4. Computer set
5. DI box - 2nos
6. Crown Amplifier xti4002 - 1no
7. Crown amplifier xls 2002 - 1no
8. EQ 231s - dbx - 1no
9. Dirverack dbx 260 - 1no

would appreciate if anyone can help me out with this.
