A nice 12 element line array to replace the bullhorns of the protestors and democrats, parked outside the convention center.  Charge $20 a minute...

Or a big fat mute button for republicans.

Do we really want to get partisan, Mark?

This is going to be a weird year for me, I finish my time in the Air Force in June and will be back out working full time AV.
Anyone have an install job?

The main st in our downtown is being renovated, integrated power for production, more level areas, it will be nice but in the mean time all outdoor concerts and events that usually fill our summer have been cancelled.  We are municipal employees so, it's not going to be a loss of income...  Already working on the list of work notes for both theaters.  Lots of projects to do, new road cases to build, new inventory software to fully integrate.  We will keep busy, but it will be weird having the gear sit...

Our whole summer is going to be a bust here. I think we have all of THREE one-off events scheduled for the big room during all of June and July and NONE for August.

I am currently looking for some summer side gigs. If you need a recording engineer for an event, particularly if it involves a classical music ensemble of some kind, shoot me a PM.

The next five weeks, however, I have all of ONE day off (Easter Sunday). And will be putting in between 70 and 95 hours each of those weeks.

I'm not reading it that way.

I'm not reading it that way.

Agreed.  It's just an opportunity to make a little extra cash.

My june and july are wide open this year. Its odd, usually they are pretty full by now. How is everyone elses looking?
We are located in the mid-west and this is going to be the busiest summer so far.  We have very few weeks when we are not doing 2 - 3 festivals at the same time and we have added 6 bigger shows this year.  Bigger for us is BOC, Queensryche, etc.  Shows with a audience of 5,000.  Additionally, we have already booked 12 new shows for 2016.

Hope everyone else's summer is as good or better.

Bill  ;)

A little slow, but I have some good stuff coming. One of my regular bands is booked a few weekends every month out till June. I personally have 3 nice gigs already. May- 2 day BBQ fest/contest with 7 bands on Sat and 4 on Sun. About 1500 attendees coming and going over the weekend. July 3rd local town fireworks event, one band for a 1.5 hour set before the fireworks go off then recorded music for the fireworks. Sept another Rotary BBQ/Car show event , but smaller probably 400-500 people throughout the day 7 bands in 8 hours...
