GLD price cuts
« on: January 22, 2015, 11:59:11 AM »

I see that Allen & Heath has substantially cut the prices on GLD model mixers, as well as the AR2412 and AR84.

I love everything about my GLD, except the iPad app.  Another potential downside (hidden expense) to GLD is you'll need to add Dante for multitrack, or some other card waves card might work

Is this global or only in some countries?

A&H offers several digital networking cards (here) for the iLive and GLD range depending on your application. These are optional and so at extra cost.

Sorry, not clear with my question I think.

Is this price drop going to be happening worldwide, or only in some markets/countries?

I just spotted the new prices this morning on Sweetwater's website.  Can anyone confirm if these are permanent price reductions?

$6250 for a GLD-80 + AR2412 is pretty tempting.  I just wish it had channel dynamics metering on the control surface.

While I can't vouch for Sweetwater's prices being permanent I can say that the price drop is the price released on the official 2015 Allen & Heath GLD price list.  So, until A & H changes the price on another price list, these are the "permanent" prices.
