I changed format from jpg to png and all of a sudden it went through...

People seem to be having that issue, I don't know why. Both jpg and png are allowed file formats.

png file format was probably smaller which allowed them to be within the file size restriction you guys set...  ;D

It Would be Helpful to;

1- Define the maximum size an image can be, Not just "Your Image is to Large".

2- Define the definition of Avatar, Not just "Your Avatar is not an Avatar".

so would someone explain why the same small image used as my avatar, which is 80x69 and all of 33k jpg in size, not upload? it's in current use on the old R-E-P boards and on the friendly competitor noisy board with no issues.  I've also tried it in smaller gif and I get the same uninformative message that it's not an avatar or too big.

this also takes care of the capcha drill, #1

and, much like someone else noted, I changed it to png and it went thru this time.

at least this takes care of capcha #2

and i see my sig line isn't posting, deal with that in a bit
