What Are You Thankful For?
« on: November 27, 2014, 04:11:22 PM »

So here in the US, it's Thanksgiving Day. Cheese has been pardoned by the President, and sounds like Mac will get spared as well! No calls to the Butterball Hotline have been required here yet, which is good cos I don't think we'd have as much fun.

With that in mind, what have you been thankful over the past year?

I'm thankful for my crew, all of whom have made me look freakin' good over the past year. Business is up 40% over last year, we've expanded into a new line array system, and I left the "day job" again to do this full time.

Best wishes to everyone in the PSW family for all of your input and advice over the past year, of course! I know I am thankful for my colleagues on here, many of whom I now consider friends.

I am thankful for good family health and to be working with a group of people who share the same vision as myself.

I am sharing the day with most of my family (my daughter could not enough time off) at my moms house in the mountains of NC and just taking it easy.

On Sat I start back on my Christmas light setup.

You can't do Christmas until after Thanksgiving-at least in my opinion.

I had a cancer scare about this time last year that ended up being sarcoidois.  The experience caused me to reboot my priorities.  My relationship with God, my wife, family and friends has never been better.   I am grateful for my wonderful clients and team members.

I am very grateful for the patient tutelage from the members of this forum.

I hope all shared a day of gratitude with their loved ones.

I am thankful for my health and my friends.

I too had a cancer scare last winter and got the all clear after months of worry waiting for biopsy results.

Happy Friday.

Hope for your speedy recovery, Tim.  I thank you greatly for your article on the LS8695 years back...as a result I own 12 of them and they still hold their own very well. \

I tell my 5 and 7 year old that:
1) they get to sleep in a warm house when others have to sleep outside in the cold.
2) they get as much milk as they want when others have to walk miles just to even find water.
3) they have food on the table when others go to bed hungry.
4) they get to go to school when others are forcibly prevented from learning.
5) daddy gets to play with big speakers at the warehouse when others sit at a desk all day long.

Ouch.  You should have held out for Prime Rib... ;)

Hope your recovery is full and speedy.
