"These pipes... are clean!"

Shit always rolls downhill. Also, you will be billed by the hour .

If that was "always" true the sewer would never back up, and bowls would never overflow.

Here is a questions for the ages. Why do people (mostly women in my experience) flush again if it didn't go down the first time.  :o :o

To wash the floor.

No kidding...
In the case of my ex, it's because she's not very bright.  I'm redoing my upstairs bathroom soon and must replace much of the plywood subfloor due to her propensity to flush the toilet a second time when the first attempt didn't produce the desired result.

I just installed a demo speaker system at a church for a few days so the congregation could evaluate it for their use. While going into one of the services so I could listen to it myself, a very nice lady asked me if they were having problems with the furnace again, and was I the plumber. I told her that I was the "Audio Plumber" hooking up the new speakers. I kind of like that title since most of the time that's exactly what I'm doing, hooking up a bunch of audio plumbing. Maybe I should include that on my business cards. Mac Kerr, is Audio Plumber your official title?  :D
Actually back in college in electronics courses water and plumbing is
a good analogy of electrical circuits.  We were required to take a course in
hydraulics and pneumatics to help visualize that analogy to electrical circuits as well.

IIRC on Broadway, plumbing is done by the electric dept. Rain, and other water effects are installed and run by electrics.

It turns out that I am actually going to be an audio plumber soon.

I visited an old friend yesterday who wants me to relocate some radiators and pipes in his house and my payment will be a couple of his QSC amps he doesn't use any more!
I fitted the central heating, bathroom and kitchen in his house many years ago.

Water is a useful analogy for several properties of electricity, but like flushing the toilet twice when it didn't empty, some people still won't get it.

Is that like trying the light switch twice when a bulb is blown?
