User manual + multi-meter = done.

User manual + multi-meter = done.

Though the amp is not rated for 4 ohms Bridged, it works just fine. The speaker issue I had turned out to have nothing to do with it. The manual is confusing as it reads and they don't list the specs for it. It bridges at 4 ohms at just over 2250 watts.

Thanks,
Scott

So what was the cause of your blown drivers?

I was referring more to the cabinet and cabling...

OE

I thought personal attacks were against forum rules.  Sure sounds like you're blaming the OP without knowing any details.  You can be awfully fucking negative sometimes, you know that?

The worst part, Alex, is that he's usually right.

Alex, I have three EAW LA212s sitting in my garage, all with shit gone wrong with them. I don't blame my techs or anyone else using them (although two of the three, I have no freaking idea WHEN they blew!) -- I place the blame solely on myself, for not setting up my system right to protect them.

Scottie has/had a problem, and lost drivers because of it. As Tim would say, it's the Tuition in the School Of Hard Knocks. So what we're trying to do now is figure out WHAT he did to blow them (the "OE" that Dick mentions...), so he can fix it, and not have it happen in the future.

If he doesn't learn from the problem, then we're not doing any good here... =\

It takes a bit of reading to work it out, but according to the manual, it is rated for 4 ohms but it is not recommended.
