Bought a Serta Honoree Super Pillow Top combination foam and spring w/ foundation. Thanks for all the tips.

Got it at Sears, free shipping, setup, old mattress removal ($15), and black Friday discount.

… Sears is still around?!? Sursly, after everything I read about them-- well, having no money, and pretty much sucking as a retailer, it's surprising! :)

Looks like I'm too late to chime in...  from amazon.com "Sleep Innovations" memory foam. Feels a good as a Temperpedic for one third the cost. Lots of folks think the so too:

The mattress has been delivered, the bedroom suite has been delivered, and wife is happy.

Cost of keeping the peace, $4700.

By the way, my morning back pain has almost stopped in less than a week of sleeping on the new mattress.
