Aftermarket Projector Lamps
« on: November 22, 2014, 07:51:22 PM »

Hey Guys,

I have a couple of Panasonic PT-D5500U DLP Projectors. They seem to be getting dimmer, I just A/B next to one of my Pan PT-D3500U and the 3500 was brighter I'm thinking it may be time to get some new lamps. Has anyone got any expierience using aftermarket lamps ie non panasonic?

Thanks

I bought 4 "Diamond" replacement lamps for my Sanyo PLC-XP100L projectors. One of the 4 exploded within 2 hours of use damaging part of the projector (but not interfering with it's use amazingly). They were very surprised and sent me a replacement one ASAP and wanted the old one back to examine it.

The supplier was Just Lamps http://www.justlamps.net/ and it was purchased from a local company.

So far the projectors are at a few hundred hours and haven't had any further issues.
