Looking for a case for an A&H Qu-16 mixer.
« on: October 25, 2014, 08:42:05 PM »

Looking for a solid case for my mixer. Preferably something where the mixer can be tilted up and left in the case bottom when in use.

???

Thanks,
James

Gator case is 6 1/2" from rail to bottom of case. QU16 is a fraction under 7 1/2" …so maybe not.
I use an old style SKB pop up case which is even less deep than the Gator case.  I let the console remain in a slightly raised position where the console sits on the case bottom and the rail holds the console in a safe fixed position with the lid and a piece of foam. So you may be able to 'rig' it if you are inclined.

The audiopile would fit it, and give you rack space underneath:

coincidentally, there's a 6RU underneath one for sale on eBay (wink wink).

Otherwise, Audiopile has a taller fixed mixer case here that's deep enough for the Qu-16:
