Perhaps Ivan and Danly will have some new competiton soon-if the marketing hype is to be believed?

We are constantly re-imagining the iCups, experimenting with different cups and strings to achieve the purest communication ever.

I am curious what new color/material combinations they have discovered?

What's funny is that there are something like 90 backers of this project, 2 at the $699 level....

Well we have our own microphone project, two actually, but the first one, the “I-mic” was dropped after a couple prototypes.
I figured this would be fine for the contact wearers but they proved too uncomfortable even for them and who could have predicted the infection problem, ugh.
Anyway, here are a couple shots of the ill fated I-mic.
Best,
Tom

Oh, if you have headphones on your computer, here are a couple recordings made with the on-going mic invention.  The last one recorded some years ago at John Halliburton’s house at a bbq where the kids form the Irish heritage center played.   Fwiw The zizzing noise is the 17 year cicadas.
