4 identical rooms. tune them all, or copy/paste?
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:28:19 PM »

So, 4 rooms that are architecturally identical (same size room, same speaker configuration) and that aren't concert halls or anything like that where we would at least verify..
what would you do?

It depends on how picky you want to be.

I would start by doing 1 room-then copy/paste to the others and then check to make sure everything is fine and the same.

If you have verified that everything is the same, angles, polarity, etc.  There is no reason to do it all over again.

However, this would be a great training oppertunity. Have one person tune each room...compair and discuss. Then copy and paste.

Symmetry is a wonderful thing, especially when you have quoted the job with a good amount of contingency!  ;)

Then try all four setups in all four rooms.

To paraphrase Futurama - "Four identical rooms, each one more identical than the last".
