Available Q4 2014. No info on price point.

Waves Soundgrid killer?

One of you guys at Infocom, stop by their booth and ask them how much it is going to be.

Edit: I mistakenly posted Q1 2014, it should have been Q4 2014

It's a really cool sounding program from what was said at AV Network world on Tuesday, I'm looking forward to it.

When some one asked about a price they didn't have an answer yet. Via will the the place on a given computer of Virtual Sound Card so I'd expect the price to be higher than Dante Virtual Sound card but my sense was it wouldn't be hugely more. I'm not sure what to call the price of DVS however, seems they have been running a 80% off sale for the last year or more and every attendee at AV Network World got 5 for free, ... It's like they want to get people using it.

The last line in the press release - where Dante via can monitor any channel on the network - that's exciting just by itself....  With a laptop and headphones, a wireless tech can monitor any stream... Yeah quite exciting.

Should be under $50. Dante doesn't support wireless audio though, so you'll need a wired connection to the network for monitoring.

This is very exciting. We just bought a QL5 and a few My16 cards for the M7 and 5D, I'm really liking the Dante world so far. Looks like it may end up being a strong competitor to AVB

Dante is supposed to be fully AVB compliant....if AVB ever gets finalized and products make it to market.

Dante is/will be AVB-compliant. Audinate has some discussion of this on their website and Keiran from Audinate mentioned this in one of his posts, IIRC.
