I have down loaded and had a play Acoustics Power Labs TDA demo software.

Anybody else tried it?

Peter

Don't remember exactly, however I though Raimonds was very generous with what he allowed in the Demo version. You can see the frequency respone and the 2 & 3D time/frequency/amplitue plots.

As I intended to use the program, it seem appropriate that I should pay  :)

I completely agree, but I also like to know what I'm getting before I install software. I may or may not find the software useful in my business, if I do then my clients will actually be the ones who pay for my working copy.  :)

I’m waiting for the forthcoming Prosound road test. I suspect it will tell us a lot more.
Having used TDA, I’m considering getting some of the APL1s.  I’m certain they would be wonderful tool to set up your studio monitors, but I’m not sure if it will do any better than TDA + Systune and some Lake controllers in a large live sound application.

TDA software gets new function – Non Linear Distortion analysis.
Now we can see frequency response of each particular harmonic.
Please find attached Non Linear Distortion analysis graph that is showing
almost 10% NLD at 2 kHz for some concert hall system.

Hi Raimonds,

For those of us that use TDA, how do we get this new function, is there a cost etc.

Regards
