If you're ok with light duty cables, these are the best deal I've found:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003MBUVWQ

The connectors are not Neutrik but I haven't had any issues with them.  I always recommend these cables when money is a big concern.  I have about 40 in weekly use at a couple of venues and I haven't had one fail a year on.  I'm not saying they're as tough as more expensive cables, just that they're fine for light duty use.

I've got a few of these at the church that get used on a weekly basis; havent' had any issues so far. The connectors are pretty decent; I also bought a large package of the GLS female connectors to fix a bunch of their other crappy cables.

That said I'll probably order from Audiopile next time as the general consensus around here is that they are better.

Thank you for the great responses.  I'm now aware of two highly recommended sources and confident either one will provide a quality product for my needs.

Just to be clear, the cable Steve recommended on audiopile does, in fact, have the Neutrik connectors.

A follow up question:  Do you think it makes much difference, with all else being the same, whether the cables are 22 vs. 24 gauge for 30' or shorter?  Thanks again.

Well they do and they don't... they no longer have the Starline with Neutrik connectors.  You have to buy the Premium ($22.95) or Quad ($28.60) cable in order to get Neutriks.

Which makes them not such a great deal(don't forget shipping cost)  Here's where I get quality made in USA Horizon cables, 24 gauge, 25' with Neutrik connectors for a little over $15.00:

I haven't had one fail in all the years I have owned them (not counting getting cut).

We use Audiopile premium brand cables with the non-Neutrik connectors and have not had any issues with them.

With all else being the same, is there any appreciable performance difference between 22 and 24 gauge mic cables for 30' and shorter?

Better, cheaper.. Contact Liz !
Not to pile on (pun intended) but good cable, good price, and outstanding service when I need it.  I usually order Neutrik but have had no issue with the standard connectors either.  +1

I have no complaints about my Starline cables with EWI connectors... I would estimate that my XLR cables have around 300-350 gigs and are starting to show a little use.  But I do have a couple barrels that have deformed a little.

Same here..all my audiopile/EWI gear is still going strong - think I've had one bad cable in 4 yrs - but proco, shure, horizon and other cabling I've acquired (especially the shure with locking screws on the connectors) are not quite so.

I will continue to replace/buy cabling from Mark/Liz as my needs warrant!
