The conversation during a spring NAB Show workshop turned to tightening fuses and disconnect box connections.

.........this picture of a three-phase electrical service, fed underground via the PVC conduit at the bottom of the panel. Cabling runs up to the knife switches at the top of the panel, then down to the fuses and finally into the building through the lower conduit exiting the rear of the panel.

Thanks for posting the link. Remember that anyone connecting into Cam-Locks is potentially at that kind of energy level. I once had a 3-p/480-v/4-0 feeder line with 200 amp breaker get pinched in a conduit pull (yes, it was live at the time) which blew open a big section of conduit and vaporized much of a big cast "elbow". One chunk of metal from the explosion flew about 100 yards through the air and punched a hole in the metal wall. Lucky for me it was 100 yards away from my crew pulling the new wires, but it sounded like a bomb going off in the warehouse. I've learned a lot since then about arc-flash explosions. You don't want to be anywhere near one when it goes off.

Have to say I'm a bit confused as to why you'd make half-a-post... planning on getting around to finishing it? I'd like to hear what happened :)
