Not my favorite place to put the mixer
« on: May 12, 2014, 04:30:22 PM »

Club doesn't allow mixers out front.  >:(  So I had to park it on the back of the stage behind the guitar amp.  :o Yeah, I got blasted. Thank goodness I had my IPad. I almost didn't bring it. Don't really like mixing from an IPad, but it all worked out.

The worst part I had to plug into the house system which was some POJ that I couldn't even identify. Had to run a line from my mixer into their little 8 channel Mackie mixer covered in dust and spilled beers that the DJ also plugged into.

There were 4 subs under stage that just killed the musicians but didn't get out in the house very well for some reason. Polarity or some kind of phase issue maybe. Wasn't allowed to touch anything. The tops were as you could guess flown non-flyable speakers with chains through the handles about 15ft ahead of the subs with no way to line them up.

Hope we don't go back.
