Did they give you some indication of what the problem was, or what they did to repair it?

I will ask that on monday morning. The only question I asked is if there has been similar problems reported, which I didn't get an answer to.

What country are you in Poo?  How steady is your source power?  People who bench test amps into a steady ohm load crack me up. Try driving a dual 4 ohm load of deep pumping 4" inch voice coils that are plowing thru the lines of magnetic flux of their magnets (which let's remember -makes them act like a generator and pump wildly varying voltage swings back into the outputs of the amp!) That's a highly reactive load for an amp that has iffy supply power. (That is also why I own Crest amps) heh, heh. Good luck.  Gawd I love your name. Sorry, can't help but laugh a little. Headline: "In deep poo with B'Ringer" It's reeely no fun when you've spent your hard earned $$ and your gear let's you down.  Sincerely hope your repaired amps hold up better for 'ya!  Have a great day!

I'm in South Africa buddy. I believe Eskom supply us with a 240V 50Hz power as for constancy and stability I'm no electrician but maybe I should get such a friend.

i have read through that topic before. it didn't have much negativity about the amp so i took my chances.

Are you operating these amplifiers bridged, stereo, or mono?

Are you using this mostly for DJ / EDM?

Indoors or outdoors?

What largest number of people you are playing to?

Is this a permanent install or portable?

Have you measured the DC resistance of the speakers with an ohmmeter?  they should both be about the same and something less then 4 ohms... probably 3 ohms or a little higher.

Have you taken the grill off and verified that the speaker coils are not rubbing by gently pushing in?  A scratching noise or of the cone sticks in and does not return easily is a bad sign.

I also bought an iNuke6000 and am also in South Africa, mine also died.

We immediately suspected the diode problem as mentioned above. Repaired as per behringer instructions and it is now working perfectly. I suspect we got a lot of the bad batch with the diode issue in SA.

I do not see it as a black mark against the product, we were made aware of the bad batch by Behringer and so it was quick and easy to fix when it happened. Just used one of the spare amps when that berry went down. (we use ours for small DJ rentals and sports field announcement type things)

I am not sure if Pro Audio (the Behringer distributor in South Africa) will honor the 3 year warranty thing - though I have asked a few times...

I use these amps for monitors and used to use them for subs (Switched to powered subs).
2 years now, no problems. The amps run cool even in HOT conditions-amazing.
I replaced iTechs with these amps because of failures! It happens, but in this case the price is such that, compared to other amplifiers, one can afford to have a spare/spares. I haven't had to deal with repairs but if Behringer service is fast then why not? And the amps are surprisingly transparent!

They did not make me pay anything so I believe they know of this, so I hope from here on I won't have anymore troubles.
