I take pride in not understanding DJ-gear, so I don't know if he's right or wrong, but he could actually be right - sure it's not a fitting description of what we audio engineers know as "post fader FX", but it could be that it's a serially inserted effect that's before or after the fader on the two consoles respectively, and so the "pre/post fader"-distinction could be correct in "another world"...

What exactly were you referring to that was problematic in the video?

When he pulls down a channel fader both the original signal and the effect disappears, but since the effects return is always up in the mix, you can hear the reverb tail.

The funny thing is he is refferig to "post fader" as like "after you put the fader down", "post" as time-wise, not like aux send point position  in the signal path.

Damn, I thought it would be self explanatory on this forum. My bad.

I generally don't take pride for not knowing something. Especially if if has something to do with my profession, even in a small bit as it does. But there were numerous times I saved myself on a DJ gig because I know their gear better than they do.
