DAS ROAD SERIES "ROAD15A' or RCF "NX-M25a MKll"
« on: April 03, 2014, 04:10:13 PM »

Hi all,

I am looking for some good sounding (& loud)  roadworthy powered monitors.

Anyone has any experience with these two models, or any other powered monitor around $1600 to $2000 ?

A forum member and I recently replaced our monitor rigs with NX-12s. They look similar to these. Very satisfied. Light, pretty flat, loud, PowerCon, coaxial, and they look slick. Mike Pyle on the forums here was our dealer - he is the man to go to on RCF!

Yep - Send Mike a PM, he'll beat those prices. I wish I could afford the RCF's!

The angle on the NX-M25a doesn't look right to me for a floor monitor.  That being said, I am very happy with my NX12-SMAs and NX10-SMAs and suspect these M25a will sound even better, but at a larger size.  The NX10-SMAs tuck very nicely under a mic stand and are plenty loud for my needs.

I see you are outside the USA, but Mike still may be able to help you.  He's worth a call, he's supplied me with pretty much everything I own for the past decade.
