Long time, no post…
It was an indoor gig, 150X70 ft room, I connected two speakers on one itech 8000, one in each corner of the 70 ft wall, about 5 ft high, one bridged XTI 4002 into one 18" sub, DJ playing, I didn't have any problem with volume but the sound was just terrible. I added two more speakers under the ones already there, against what I thought was good sound logic. I don't know why but it sounded just a bit better so I left it the way it is. I tried to tweak things from SA and it was slightly better but nothing to brag about. I was really bummed about it. When people started to fill the room up, about 100-150 people, the rig kept getting better and better (I didn't drink or inhaled anything but water) by the time the room was packed it was better then what I was used to, I'm guessing the room had such a profound effect on sound quality that I have never experienced before, when people filled the room, I think they cancelled the bad effects of the room and the rig just played beautifully.
