Budget friendly clear-com compatible blazon?
« on: March 18, 2014, 10:47:11 PM »

Manager at one of my venues asked for a wishlist of small items. There is regular com traffic between a SM console stage left, audio FOH, lights, and projection. Clear-com standard wired packs work excellent for all of us except our SM, who often does not sit at his console, but wanders around tending to the artist and etc. I want to ask for a blazon so he could see his calls from far away, but I am 100% sure that the ~$350 price tag on the clear-com flasher does not count as a "small item".

I looked on an old thread and searched the web, but didn't find anything besides a DIY option I'm not interested in. I read on the thread here that Production Intercom is a good cheaper option but I couldn't find any dealers or pricing. The dealers page on their website just times out.

Any advice? It seems like There should be a cheaper box that will do this. Essentially, if I can't find one, I won't get one :)
