the two buttons you push to go between the "higher half" of the 1/3 oct and the "lower half" are the key.  If you hold one of them down for say 5 seconds, then one of the two buttons will turn  kind of yellow indicating that the graphic EQ is now bypassed. you can still see all of the eq faders and move them around and stuff, but nothing happens. To reverse this bypass process simply hold one of those two buttons down for about 5 seconds (it might be less, just keep your eye on the color of the buttons) and then the button will turn back to I think red is the "norm".
first time I used this console I had this issue, and just thought I was an idiot....but was grateful for the parametrics there as well.  Some previous user may have just leaned on these buttons for too long, found the eq's not working and moved on.  leaving you in bypass mode.
let me know if this helps...thanks

Club has the above desk and the graphic EQ for main L/R is not working.
Manual is useless and SC tech support was....not helpful (although, in his defense he said I could call back Monday as I was not in front of the desk at the time). He suggested a reset/reconfig/restart process that did not work. The manual has a default reset that also did not work. In these processes, everything on the board should have been reset, meaning any data save would be erased and we'd have to start over. Neither process did what it was supposed to do.
The parametric IS available on the mains and that's what we're using.
And, it seems the graphic IS available on the MON outs.
Anyone have a suggestion or know how to fix this?
Thanks folx.

Silly question, but did you press the select button for the L/R and then the upper or lower EQ button. And then did the faders turn red in response, or did they turn ORANGE??
SELecting MAIN L/R, the GEQ (either hi or lo), faders turn red, but make no changes in the EQ. It is not in bypass. Console seems to function normally otherwise (a couple of other little "glitches" such as the AFL light never lights, no L/R signal at headphones until some sort of Monitor function was enabled, and another thing that may just be OE). Graphic EQ works fine on AUX and Matrix.
I have also tried to wipe this console and start all over but the manual factory default reset and another method suggested by the one time I did speak to a rep at SC did not work. I tried several times, both methods (after saving "shows" to USB of course), and the desk came back to it's pre reset/ configuration settings every time.
I walked into this after it was set up by someone else. Ain't particularly fond of this desk necessarily but all the kids say it's like, way cool, so it is what it is and before I leave, it'd be nice to have it fully, correctly functional.
After writing to SC USA, I have finally been contacted by a different rep so maybe he can help.
Thanks for all the replies.
