Sokol has several threads here that are relevant, you might want to take a closer look at this forum's index.

Here's a few past threads to get you started. Remember, there are dozens (perhaps hundreds) of reasons for hums, buzzes, and shocks, largely due to there being so many differently wired venues, rooms and instruments. Let me know if this helps.

Mike,

I have really enjoyed reading your posts her and on your webpage.

Do you have any suggestions on a video projector ground loop.  I have a friends church that has a constant roll on the screen using the vga input?  You are the first person to suggest a amp clamp on a audio line I am going to have to get a clamp.

Thanks!

You're welcome. I once measured 5 amperes on a coax video cable with a clamp ammeter. Video Baluns (Bal/Unbal) are great for breaking video ground loop hum. Something like this maybe http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=713751&Q=&is=REG&A=details
