We recently replaced our CD recorder that hooks to our Peavey RF600 mixer. The new CD recorder is a TEAC CDRW890. After installation, I tested the sound input (onto a CD) from the speaker podium. When I played the CD recording back, the sound input is very low. And I had the volume on the CD player turned all the way up. I have set the controls on the new recorder input as high as they will go and the sound is still low when played back. Note: With the old recorder that we replaced, the recorded sound was fine.
Is there something that I am missing, or is there something on the Peavey mixer that I can do to increase the sound input to the recorder/
Thanks for any help.
