More "fun with pets"...
« on: January 20, 2014, 03:55:46 PM »

Set up my Qu-16 in the house to program scenes for an upcoming theater gig and was playing around with the iPad control.  One of the cats (the huntress) found flying faders VERRRRRY interesting.  Wish I had a video camera for YouTube, but you'll have to take my word for it.

I must be easily amused.

You'll be less than amused if your cat does anything like my cat did.

I did a gig for Otis Elevator once. Like every job, it had it's ups and downs.

Every time we get a quick cold snap she presents me with another mouse who made the mistake of thinking that they could move into a nice warm house.  They last a couple of hours, then she brings me a "present".

Bob, your cat had an attitude from sharing the house with a raccoon... and I recall you nearly destroyed your attic trying to evict that critter.

Ohhh how they never let you forget.

Correct on all accounts. I even have the same mouse problem as Dick, but my daughters cat, which lives upstairs, isn't allowed in the basement or outside. Sort of like a sissy cat I guess. What I do is use those sticky things the size of a sheet of paper and put them near the field stone section of the foundation. A dab of peanut butter and they stick anywhere from 2-6 at a time.

As for the attic, I should post some pictures of the 99% finished rooms. No more raccoons except on top of the shed once in a while, but they're easy to knock off with a 2x4.

We used to use those sticky traps like that; we'd throw the trap+mouse over the fence behind the house. :) Then one day our neighbor came up and was telling my mom of how her cat came up with one stuck to it's face; it was all my mom could do not to bust out laughing(which she did the moment the neighbor left)....  ;D

I would entertain my kids with the faders on my 01V96 and Studiomanager.
