I did a gig for Otis Elevator once. Like every job, it had it's ups and downs.

Gutted a CL3 and put an X32 in it.  Basically.

No, not an X32 in drag at all. I think the faders in this desk may be worth more than an X32. Nice design, rider friendly, plenty of horsepower, plenty of expansion, logical layout, and the price is under 5K. This is probably what an X32 might have been if it didn't have to meet a low ball price point.

I've been questioning this since I first saw it this morning. Will it really be rider friendly or will a line be added to riders specifying "No M32s" as well? I don't see the name fixing any rider issues as most people will immediately see that it is still Behringer at its heart and associate the same problems with it, despite its Midas faders and fancier design.

Well the x32 V2.0 firmware looks great. Definitely adding a lot of wanted features:
  • More effect plugins
  • Gain sharing between FOH and Monitor x32s
  • Remote preamp control(aka using x32 Rack as a stage box
  • RTA with Spectrogram view
  • Better output routing
  • More speaker processing options
  • Probably some stuff I didn't list

What I don't like: Android app appears to be a clone of the very limited iPhone app.

Does anybody(maybe Uli or one of the other Behringer reps could chime in??) know if there will be an Android app similar to the iPad app?
