Thanks for replies I run sound in a med size nightclub seats around 1000 or so I have 6 x 4732 and 6 x4719 looking to upgrade deciding between point source and array room has 25 ft ceilings so height is not an issue however budget is just seeing what guys with way more saavy than I have for opinions

The 4719 is still a good sub. Yes, there are better subs available, and the 4719 is fairly long in the tooth, but it's saving grace is the use of the very reliable and good sounding 2241 driver. If you are sure of the upgrade path you'll be taking you might consider that your subs can be replaced at a later date allowing you to concentrate on replacing the upper cabinets with your available funds.

Isn't the SR4732X a nominal 90x50 pattern?  How are the 6 boxes arranged and might you potentially benefit from running fewer of them?

What are you currently doing for system processing?  As noted, the UX8800 with the Gunness Focusing processing can make a significant difference for the KF650s but appropriate processing can likely help any speaker system.

What are your issues with the current system?  What are you trying to 'fix' and/or what improvements are you trying to achieve?  Basically, what are the goals for the 'upgrade'?

KF600 has a 1 inch HF driver
KF650e has a 2" - 3" diaphragm driver (B&C - DE75 variant)
KF650z has a 1.4 " - 3" diaphragm driver (B&C - DE900 series)

Although they can be used without a sub, you really need one to realize their potential. Stick a one or two double 18s (depending on your music type) under a 650z, cross it at 90 -120 Hz  with a UX8800,  run the 650 3-way and you had a great little PA.

I stand corrected.

A quick check shows that the development of the 600/650 design really changed over the different models.

They are capable of getting stupid-loud. They do require sensible and specific processing. They are passband limited below @90hz.

The KF's still have a strong international fanbase, especially south of the border. www.AmericanVox.com in Argentina has 650 & 850 type phase plugs available for DIY types, and the internet is chock-a-block with photos of all manner of local construction.
