I imagine this will get fixed pretty quick. They'd been responsive before.

Must say that I am impressed so far with their customer service.
Sent an email to soundcraft yesterday and was contacted today by the NZ Tech support.
They installed V1 Build 4 before sending out the desk (good service just for doing that I say) which "should" have fixed the issue but I may have to do the factory reset to again (they also explained about the lack of the "Clear SD Card" option that I was having).
If I still have issues I may have to try re-installing V1 B4 but if that still does not work they will swap out the desk.  Good stuff Soundcraft  :)

I will also say customer service is great. I called tech support today and left a message. I received a call back in less then 15 minutes. That does say alot about a company and there customer service.

Olympic Cases built mine (Si Compact 24). Nice people, nice case. I'd get mine a little different in retrospect, but it's a great quality case.

Well, after my conversation with NZ Tech support and using the "Format the SD card" option all seems to go :) (fingers crossed)

Thanks for all the advice.

(may I say these new fangled digital desk thing-a-me-jigs are a bit of alright.  Might have to consider one for myself)

Cheers

I updated to the latest version on the Expression 3 last week after it froze during a job and it froze the following job. I still haven't been able to pinpoint what I was exactly doing before it froze on all occasions.

The lockup problem was cured two versions ago. Make sure you use the latest version available from the web site, and make sure you read the "readme" file pertaining to the upgrade. After the upgrade you will have no problems.

UPDATE
I uploaded v1.0 build 4 and reset console and everything is working great. Thank you everyone for your help.
Does anyone know where I can purchase a road case for the expression?

Gator makes a case that has a doghouse and is on wheels, looks to be a very solid case, a G-Tour SIEXP 24(16 & 32 available). I've seen it all over the net for $550.00. I considered it but it's way heavier than I'd like, 70+ lbs? I bought a generic SKB case for a couple $$ cheaper and way lighter. The only size the would fit is a 26x30, it does comes with sizing pieces to keep it in place, the size is a bit awkward though, a 22x26 would have been just right.

P.S. my EXP 2 came with V1,B4. No problems as of yet, but do plan on upgrading to latest update.
