Rush live at Rio
« on: December 14, 2013, 01:41:27 AM »

Okay, I know that heavy rains made the setup for this concert video a nightmare. I also know that it turned out GREAT.  So.  Anyone know a good link to the inside story.

What can I say?  I got in the mood for some Great Rush music so I thought I would listen to rush in Rio.  Then I got curious.

So.  Anyone?

I believe the whole "Rush in Rio" documentary video is available in pieces on Youtube. Neil Peart also talks about it a bit in one of his travel books. I ~think~ it is a brief section in "Roadshow: Landscape With Drums, A Concert Tour By Motorcycle".

The only tidbit I remember is that the huge 'Vapor Trails" stage carpet had to be left in Rio because it was waterlogged and too heavy to get rolled and on the truck.

He mentions in here, too:
