Or the other way round, todays beachfront is tomorrows inland and somewhere in the sea is the new beachfront.

One thing to not about Sennheiser's proposal to the FCC is that those companies that win spectrum in the 600 Mhz auction should compensate wireless mic users who have to vacate the 600 mhz space and retire (aka trash perfectly good) their mic systems operating in that space.  We support that proposal.  Anyone else around here think that's a good idea?

Absolutely, but we won't be getting the check. It will most likely take the shape of a rebate from the manufacturers again, like the 700MHz sale.
