AT 4000 Series Mic
« on: December 04, 2013, 05:22:02 PM »

Looking to up grade my wireless microphone with AT 4000 Series. I have look for reviews and can not find many people complaining about them either. So to me that means they are good or junk. LOL

Looking at AEW 4314a. Cardioid hand held with body pack combo.

Currently using Audix with om6 head

They are pretty good, but I prefer the Sennheiser EW500 with the E9xx capsules.

We have AT 4000 with the 3300 element, and are constantly getting great reviews from artists.  They ask, what is this mic?   We also have an artist that we outfitted with all AT and they travel the country (all on 6100 dynamic elements) and I get calls regularly from the lead singer saying, "another sound guy asked me about my vocal mic again".  They sound great, and the AT service is great.

Just my observation.
