Slight swerve here. I'm planning a kitchen/dining room reno to start right after the holidays. Wife has expressed some interest in having a receptacle on the floor below the dining room table. We do a fair bit of entertaining and she has various appliances she'd like to have on the table (think Chinese Hotpot).
I have easy access to run the wiring, just looking for a somewhat elegant solution for a floor pocket. It will be in a wood floor. Any leads appreciated. Any that I can get are pretty industrial looking- not that it's a big deal with it being hid under the table.

Go to homedepot.com and search for "floor box." They've got quite a few decent selections at somewhat reasonable prices.
