I just picked up a used senn em100 G3 with the skm100 G3 transmitter.  The problem is that the transmitter frequency banks don't match that of the receiver.  For example, transmitter BCH1.1 = 626.375 while the receiver BCH1.1 = 626.500. 
Sync will match up the freq by setting U.1 to match the receiver.
Any ideas?

The previous owner or user changed them.  It's not a big deal, just set them back, sync them or whatever you need to do.  You only use 1 frequency at a time...

The base answer is that your transmitter and receiver have different versions of the firmware... And you need to update one of them to get them sync'd up.

Yes, it appears the receiver is on ver. 1.4.4 and the transmitter on 1.7.0. It doesn't look like the 100G3 firmware is updatable by the user.  Hopefully I can find time to call sennheiser tomorrow.  Thanks to all for the input.  As pointed out, it not a show stopper if I can't get the firmware updated.
