I don't have any experience with the model you mentioned but i do own one of these systems and we have found it to work really good for some applications. The subs perform similar to other good quality 18" front loaded powered subs. I would much prefer to have a second sub per side but i can still get a lot done with this system.

We have used my subs on almost every EDM DJ you could imagine with great results. Plus lots of hip hop and pop artists that you have heard of and metal bands that I grew up listening to. Everyone loves them. We used them for one of the largest festivals in southern California for the second stage. 16 of them for 12,000 people with a huge EDM DJ was a non issue and we had plenty of headroom to spare.
