Looking to Replace A Pair of JBL SR4377A Cabinets
« on: November 24, 2015, 02:48:25 PM »

Hello,
I'm looking to replace a pair of JBl SR4733As. These old boat anchors have served us well for many, many years but we are wanting to lighten our trailer load and backs with newer cabinets. I run each one 3-way over a Peavey SP218BX. I run the highs with a Qsc RMX850, the mids with a QSC EX4000 and the lows with a pair of Yamaha P7000s. Can anyone recommend cabinets to replace these SRs? The top end of my budget is around $1200 per cabinet. We play regional latin music with drums, guitar, bass, accordion and vocals.  Typically we gig 2-3 times a month playing smaller clubs and private party halls with maybe 300 people max.

thanks,
Omar

What about some used srx725's or 722's - even 715's?  The srx 835's may do it for you as well.
