EAW MX8750 processor files
« on: July 24, 2013, 07:16:54 PM »

I cannot for the life of me find any .mx files on the EAW site (as the manual says), or anywhere on the internet.  Am I missing something?

To clear up, what I am looking for are not the PDFs of recommended settings, but actual .mx files used for loading my 8750 with the right processor settings for my different systems.

Thanks for all you do!

Read the rules, fix your display name.

Thank you for your cooperation.

ok, done.

However, my actual name is spelled, Ross McAfee.  I can't find my old profile in order to figure out what "username" I used for that.  sorry :-/ I will keep working on it.  Until then, I'd appreciate any help with this as our gig is tomorrow.  Thanks!

As an addendum, we are using a USB > Serial cable and having a hard time getting communication to happen between the computer and the MX8750.  Does anyone have any experience or knowledge as to what we can do to get them to see each other??

Thanks again!

My suggestion would be to email and call the EAW Application Support Group.

I'm wondering if the data is included with one of the software installers?

http://www.eaw.com/docs/8_Software/1_Legacy%20Software/

Or could it be in this directory?

OK, thanks.  I've tried that.  I guess at this point we'll just have to wait.  (Unless someone else sees this and knows anything we're missing).

Check the directory I posted above.

As best as I can recall, the actual files were never available. They had to be created and then uploaded to the 8750.

I might have some MX files sitting on a hard drive somewhere.

Which one do you need?
