That would be redundant. It doesn't make sense to compete against yourself (Midas) or buy a viable competitor, just to eliminate competition.

We are just watching a mature industry re-arrange the deck chairs, this has been going on for decades, and we always end up with less chairs after the music (group) stops.    8)

There are romantic notions associated with small companies that do not always live up to the reality, while being absorbed into the collective is rarely as pleasant or productive as the press releases promise.
