Thanks again to everyone. I think the video switching idea might be where we end up. Any "audio based" solution looks to be kludgy or in the $1200+ range. I definitely appreciate the K.I.S.S. principle, and the simple solution is a small mixer in instrument world with 1/4" and TA4M adapters feeding the tech mix. But, since all of the relevant inputs have RF packs we're looking for something more elegant/user friendly. Our tech is taking care of 3.5 guys so time not spent unplugging, plugging, and regaining is valuable time.
