I would also make sure that the spare mix is on the aux mix layer. Then you could pull something up in that mix to test in your prep. Or easily build another mix should a guest surprise arrive without having to add it back to the layer.

That's my plan, we'll likely have some guests on the road, so I'll have a mix up for them, but their pack/transmitter will also double as the emergency/spare pack.
